Adding a Microphone
Your camera, or video camera, is going to have a built in microphone. These are “pretty good” but not wonderful. Consider adding a small microphone to your kit. They are not all that expensive and they can make a big difference in the sound. They are typically directional and are great for interviews or picking up the animal sounds on the horizon.
